How to make a simple robot ?

It's really very easy to make a simple wired robot.

Requirements :
 1. Base (to support motors & wheels).
 2. 4 DC motors. (How DC motor works).
 3. 4 wheels.
 2. 12V battery.
 3. 2 DPDT switches. (What are DPDT switches and their working).
 4. Simple stationary support as per requirement.

Steps:
1. Make the arrangement as shown in Fig.

2. Make the connections as shown

3. Now, connect the DPDT switches at the positions marked ''S1'' and ''S2'' with battery and wires from motors in the figure above.

Your Bot is ready.

How to operate ??

 forward -> all wheels forward.

 backward -> all wheels backward.

 right -> stop the wheels in right side and let other wheels move forward.

 left -> stop the wheels in left side and let other wheels move forward.

sharp right -> make right side wheels move backward and other wheels forward.

sharp left -> make left side wheels move backward and other  wheels forward.
